| Regarding carbon plate modification: When modifying the plates, is it necessary for the "lettering" to be visible? | We allow this. Be aware that in the event that the inspectors are unsure if part that had been cut, sanded, anodize, dyed, painted, etc, is an original Tamiya part, the inspector will consider the part as not an original Tamiya part and disqualify the racer. |
| Regarding chassis bottom surface: Is "sanding" of the chassis bottom surface permitted by regulations? | Yes, sanding of the chassis is permissible but the letterings must still be recognizable and readable. |
| Regarding restrictions on usable carbon plates: There are various plates, such as past TMAC limited edition plates and TKC (Korea limited edition) plates. Are there any restrictions on the types of plates that can be used? | The various limited edition plates such as those from Tamiya Korea (TKC), Tamiya HK, TMAC, Japan Cup, are allowed. Tamiya released plates are all accepted. |
